Team
building events, away days, planning sessions etc. can often be best facilitated by someone who is not closely connected with
the charity and has an objective viewpoint. The facilitator ensures that everyone participates and contributes to the debate
whilst taking notes for further discussion. The facilitator will produce a summary based on the outcomes of the
discussions. This can then be used to inform the drafting of a strategy, business plan or further course of action. The object
of facilitation is to encourage the full participation of everyone involved so that each person can develop a clear sense
of ownership of the finished achievement. First
consultations with the charity’s key staff or trustees are free of charge. For details of all charges and rates, please
see the ‘Costs’ page.
